AMY LAUREN is a gorgeous young blogger who loves writing and wants to inspire and motivate anyone and everyone in fashion and beauty. We caught up with Amy to find out more about her.

LL: How would you describe your style?

Amy: I would describe my style as very girly but simple. I always love to dress up!

LL: What are your favourite piece/s in the Love&Lustre collection for Spring Summer 17/18, and why/what do you love about them?

Amy: I really love the Eco Bamboo Cami and sleep short! The material is super soft and they are so comfortable!

LL: What quote do you live by?

Amy: Elegance is when the inside is as beautiful as the outside

LL: We think women need to take more time out for themselves, what is your favourite way to indulge or treat yourself?

Amy: I love to get my hair and nails done. Or spending time with my family always makes me happy.

LL: We love to empower women – what makes you feel empowered?

Amy: Getting ready everyday, doing my hair and makeup and putting on a flattering outfit. I like to look good for MYSELF.

LL: Can you tell us something that would surprise us about you?

Amy: I was born on Friday the 13^th (Creepy!)

LL: Is there anything you couldn’t live without?

Amy: My Family

LL: What are your five essentials to eat, drink or do to keep you looking and feeling good throughout spring and summer?

Amy:    1. Water, water, water!

2. Exercise at least 3 days a week
3. La Roche Posays “serozinc” zinc sulphate solution. (A misting spray that mattifys your skin and cools you down on those really hot days!)
4. Strawberries and Mangoes are my favourite fruit to eat on hot days
5. Spending lots of time with my family

LL: What are you most looking forward to this summer?

Amy: Going on holidays with my family!

LL: What are your five essentials to include in your handbag over summer?

LL: If you could go on a girls’ weekend anywhere in the world, where would you go?

Amy: New York! At Christmas time! I’ve never been and think it would be so amazing to see New York all lit up for Christmas!

LL: What would you say would be the “inner beauty” qualities you love about your best girlfriends?

Amy: I can trust them with anything and know that they will always be there for me.

One of the latest fashion trends for summer is white on white, and thankfully everyone looks good in it. What is it that makes white look good on everyone? The 2015 Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival is about to kick off. What a great time of year for Melbourne! All ladies enjoy shopping for a new outfit, or a few new outfits, to attend this glamorous event. It takes a lot of time, thought and grooming getting the look you want just right.

Dressing for the races is unlike dressing for any other occasion. Effort is put into the entire outfit, from millinery to shoes and everything in between. The Spring Racing style is about femininity but with an edge. Thought needs to go into the colour, texture and shape of your outfit. It must flatter the wearer and suit the race day meet.

Those who are best dressed are those who find the styles they love, then push the limits with accessories, footwear and millinery. So be bold when dressing for the races and find your inner creative flair to create a look to be remembered.

The weather is starting to warm up and the flowers are blooming, its beginning to feel like Spring/Summer. Our new seasons Spring/Summer Collection is starting to be dispatched into stores and we can’t wait for you all to see it.
Recently we shot the collection in a beautiful house in Toorak. A combination of old world charms with modern finishes. It was a fine day as the warmth of the sun shone through and lit up the room with beautiful natural light.
We had a wonderful team working with us, Stephane Spatafora was the photographer. He was born in France and has an interest in Fashion, beauty and lifestyle photography. Our model was Demelza Reveley who was previously an Australian Next Top Model winner. Hair and make-up was done by Gidget from Gidget Ricca Hair Studios. Gidget has been the beauty stylist for many celebrities and is employed by The Australian Open Tennis each year as the players hairdresser.

Our collection has continued with the most beautiful fabrics we can find. That are soft to touch, feel like a second skin and drape beautifully over the body. Our colour palette will suit many women from the palest of pinks to navy, and soft to fun prints. The Love and Lustre intimates are a favourite amongst women for comfort and how feminine they feel in it.

Is your underwear draw a mess? Are you sick of the clutter? Well don’t get your knickers in a knot! Its time for a Knickers drawer renewal!

You Spring clean your house and your wardrobe, but don’t overlook the underwear drawer. The main cause of underwear chaos are the knickers that we think we will wear one day, but don’t, or the sentimental knickers or the “Lucky” knickers. We love this blonde bombshell as she manages to show us a sensual but sweet side. Admired by many as a successful woman who once dominated our screens.

So we ask the famous question “What would Marilyn wear to bed?”. Other than Chanel no. 5, we think she would have loved the sensual feel of a Love and Lustre slip or nightdress.
